Ranked alongside the authentic Yuki Tsumugi and Oshima Tsumugi, Ushikubi Tsumugi is the rarest and least produced among Japan's three major tsumugi silks.
This 【Kaga Hakusan Tsumugi】 is a high-grade tsumugi that possesses characteristics most similar to Ushikubi Tsumugi.

This is a Special Selection Eba Tsumugi that achieves an adult modern style, featuring an elegant monochrome design based on white and black, along with a luxurious and sophisticated sheen.

The threads are spun from tama-mayu (double-yolk cocoons), which are rare and expensive, with only 2-3% of cocoons containing two silkworms.

The threads from tama-mayu are made of many intertwined fibers, resulting in numerous slubs. By intentionally leaving these slubs, the fabric is woven into an exceptionally strong material, known as kuginuki tsumugi (nail-pulling tsumugi), making it durable enough to be worn for generations.
